Karibu (Welcome) to Tanzania! My name is Reuben Samwel, and I am the President and CEO of PPSARE Safaris. I am a native Tanzanian and a proud member of the Meru tribe. My personal background, and my training in Tourism and Wildlife Management, have allowed me to develop extensive knowledge of Tanzania’s native plants, animals, and many different cultures.

Along with being an excellent tour guide, I am an avid environmentalist. To support my passion for the environment, I invite every adventurer/dreamer to plant a fruit tree or watershed tree at the conclusion of each tour. Giving back to my community and country is one of my greatest joys. One of the ways I do this is by being a mentor to others in my country who would like to create a micro-enterprise in Safari/Cultural tourism.

I also give back through my direct association with an NGO (NPO) called The Small Things. 

At PPSARE, our mission is not only to share Tanzania’s national parks with visitors and tourists, but also to give our clients a taste of Tanzanian culture and lifestyle. Our motto is “Turn your Dream into a Reality.”

Our Story
Our story began in 2019 when Mr. Reuben Sam decided to use his six years of experience as a tourism lecturer at Tropical Centre Institute, Ltd. to create a socially-responsible safari tour company. Since that time, Ppsare Wildlife Safaris has
become a well-established and highly-rated tour operator that provides excellent customer service while also supporting community development. We value our clients, and it makes us happy to give each of them the highest level of service.

Reuben Samwel is a visionary leader in Tanzania's tourism industry whose passion for guiding began at the age of 14. Inspired by visitors to his village, Reuben embarked on a journey fueled by a commitment to community-driven tourism. With a solid foundation in tourism education, he has mentored over 700 safari guides and held pivotal managerial roles in different associations. Today, as the President and CEO of Ppsare Wildlife Safaris, Ltd., Reuben integrates extensive industry expertise with hands-on guidance to deliver unparalleled visitor experiences. His leadership is defined by a steadfast dedication to operational excellence and the empowerment of his team. Reuben Sam's pioneering spirit continues to shape unforgettable tour experiences that include the highest standards of hospitality in East Africa.

Brayson Sam, our Managing Director. Brayson is responsible for helping our company to achieve its objectives on a daily basis.

Hosiana Pallangyo, our dedicated Reservations Manager. Hosiana’s passion for tourism and warm Tanzanian hospitality shines through in every client interaction. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Arusha, Hosiana graduated from Tropical Center Institute Arusha where she immersed herself in the intricacies of hospitality and tourism operations. With a wealth of knowledge garnered from both academic pursuits and practical experience, Hosiana ensures that every aspect of a client’s booking is seamlessly handled.

Benson Samwel, our Safari Manager and Driver Tour Guide who speaks English and Spanish. Benson loves creating memorable and enjoyable travel experiences for our clients, and his extensive knowledge of animals and attractions significantly enhances our visitors’ safari experiences. His passion for his work, and the warm welcome he extends to all, contribute greatly to PPsare Wildlife Safaris' reputation and success in the travel industry.

Climbing Team
Daniel Joel, our expert Mountain Manager who has a deep-rooted passion for adventure and a profound connection to the wild. Born and raised in Arusha, the heart of Tanzania's vibrant tourism scene, Daniel graduated from Tropical Center Institute Arusha where he honed his skills and knowledge of the outdoors. Since then, Daniel has been scaling the heights of Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru, earning a reputation for his exceptional guiding abilities and his intimate understanding of both the terrain and its diverse wildlife. As Ppsare’s Mountain Manager since 2020, Daniel has played a pivotal role in ensuring unforgettable experiences for countless adventurers.

Selestine Samwel is a Mountain Guide with a passion for adventure. With over five years experience as a mountain-climbing porter, Selestine transitioned to guiding after scaling Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru in 2018. He honed his extensive climbing knowledge at the Mweka Institute after successfully completing his studies in tourism at Sila College Arusha. Join Selestine for expert-guided treks and discover Tanzania's stunning landscapes with confidence and enthusiasm.

Elia Sam is a passionate and enthusiastic Cultural Tour Guide. Elia's work is driven by a deep-seated love for showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of Tanzania. Currently studying tourism, Elia plans to complete his training in 2025 and then pursue his dream career as a safari tour guide. Elia is dedicated to increasing his skills and expanding his understanding of Tanzania's diverse landscapes, wildlife, and cultural nuances.
